Collected Information: In connection with your use of ATI Products and Services, you may be required to provide Personal Information, such as your company name, first and last name, business address (including ZIP code), country of residence, e-mail address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and other information ("Personal Information").
During the course of your use of the Products and Services, ATI may also collect certain non-personally identifiable information about your activities in connection with your use of the Products and Services. By way of illustration, we may collect non-personally identifiable information about such things as (i) orders placed and fulfilled using ATI Products and Services; (ii) quantities or orders and transactions placed; (iii) items and categories of items purchased, (iv) types of accounts placing orders; and (v) other non-personally identifiable transaction information ("Anonymous Transaction Information").
By using the Products and Services, you agree and acknowledge that Personal Information and Anonymous Transaction Information collected in connection with your use of the Products and Services may be collected by ATI, transferred across national boundaries and stored and processed in any of the countries around the world in which ATI maintains offices, including the United States. You also acknowledge that in certain countries or with respect to certain activities, the collection, transfer, storage, and processing of Personal Information and Anonymous Transaction Information may be undertaken by trusted third parties. Such third parties are bound by contract with ATI not to use Personal Information or Anonymous Transaction Information for their own purposes or to provide it to any third parties.
Collecting Information: ATI uses a wide variety of non-intrusive technological means including cookies (see further below) to collect Personal Information and Anonymous Transaction Information. The websites of ATI, its subsidiaries and affiliates contain commercially available features and functionality that allow for the collection of information regarding activities undertaken by visitors while on those sites. ATI Products and Services also contain commercially available features and functionality that allow for the collection of Personal Information and Anonymous Transaction Information. Additionally, Personal Information and Anonymous Transaction Information can be collected in the process of normal business transactions as they are processed by ATI Products and Services or via other technological means that may be available in the future that allow ATI to access and collect such Personal Information and Anonymous Transaction Information.
Using Personal Information: ATI collects your Personal Information and Anonymous Transaction Information in order to record, support, facilitate and improve your use of the Products and Services. If you subscribe to or register for Products and Services, for example, the information is used to register your rights, if any, to technical support or other benefits that may be made available to registered users.
ATI tracks visits to its websites in a non-obtrusive way using commercially available data gathering tools and uses such information to improve the user experience and to communicate with such visitors regarding ATI Products and Services.
ATI may collect Anonymous Transaction Information about your use of the Products and Services. This information is collected in aggregate form, without identifying any user or dealer individually. ATI may use Anonymous Transaction Information for improving the Products and Services and statistical analysis, and may also share Anonymous Transaction Information with third party service providers of ATI, including without limitation, wholesalers, manufacturers, and other third parties with whom ATI has business relationships.
ATI may also use your Personal Information to provide you with information about goods and services which may be of interest to you and we may contact you about these by email, post or telephone. If you do not want us to use your Personal Information in this way, please select Opt-Out option located on your user profile form.
There are other instances in which ATI may divulge your Personal Information, such as where required by law, regulation, or litigation. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that such disclosure should be made for reasons of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance.
Protecting Personal Information:The Personal Information that you provide in connection with your use of the Products and Services is classified as Registration Information. Registration Information is protected in several ways. Access by you to your Registration Information is available through a password and unique customer ID. This password is encrypted. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. In addition, your Registration Information resides on secure servers that only selected ATI personnel and contractors have access to via password. ATI endeavors to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is transmitted to ATI. Accordingly, all personal information entered into the Portal is encrypted using a SHA250 CA, Level 1 SSL certificate.
